Yamaha is raising its MotoGP eSport game to a whole new level in 2020. This year, Formula Medicine will be an Official eSport Partner to the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team, strengthening their quest to succeed in the MotoGP eSport Championship.

Formula Medicine is a Sports Medicine Centre based in Viareggio (Italy), equipped with a multidisciplinary staff and a Mental Economy Gym. It has 30 years of experience in offering medical assistance and creating training programmes, enhancing both physical and mental performance.

The Formula Medicine specialists are certainly familiar with the unique demands of the motorsport industry. Formula Medicine has assisted 75 F1 drivers amongst more than 1500 drivers from all categories, and they also cooperated with 19 F1 teams.

With the level of MotoGP eSport growing each year, this partnership with Formula Medicine is aimed to benefit Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP’s official eSport Rider Lorenzo Daretti (aka Trastevere73 or 73Trast). He will be working closely with the Formula Medicine specialists throughout 2020 in an effort to both enhance his chances of securing the MotoGP eSport Championship Title and contribute to raising the level of professionalism in this discipline year by year.

Daretti paid his first visit to the Formula Medicine gym before the Covid-19 measures were implemented in Italy.
