Team SUZUKI ECSTAR MotoGP riders Alex Rins and Joan Mir joined hundreds of GSX-R enthusiasts on Sunday for the second annual European GSX-R Meeting at the Zolder Circuit in Belgium. The event, organized by Suzuki Germany, and with Suzuki Belgium, took place during the International German Motorcycle Championship (IDM) race and included test rides on the latest Suzuki machinery, stunt shows, catering in the Suzuki area and more, including customer help from WP in setting-up suspension.
The event took place in the Suzuki Area and all participants were looked after by the Suzuki Hospitality team, who provided catering during the weekend. Suzuki DJ Nick Groove took care of the beats and atmosphere, while the GSX-R guests could relax, take part in table soccer tournaments, or test their luck at the wheel of fortune events.
WP Suspension informed all interested riders about suspension technique in workshops and provided free set-ups on their machinery and for anyone who wanted to test the latest GSX-R1000 models, or try another Suzuki model – like the all new Katana Suzuki – were offered free test rides.
A prize giving ceremony on Saturday evening awarded the oldest and youngest participant and also the furthest travelled, plus the three most beautiful bikes and the largest group which arrived together were awarded: The “GSX-R Owners Germany Club” arrived with more than 50 members.
