Ducati celebrates the success of Antoine Meo on the DesertX with a video that illustrates the preparation, the sensations of the rider, and the weekend experienced by the Borgo Panigale men in the Austrian iron ore mine event.
The DesertX ridden by the multiple Enduro world champion and European Supercross Champion, Antoine Meo, won the Iron Road Prolog at the Erzbergrodeo. Meo, who has embraced the DesertX project since its inception, becoming its ambassador, also took part in the Mitas Rocket Ride side race, finishing fourth overall and first among the twin-cylinder bikes.

The Iron Road Prolog is the competition that is used by the over 1200 riders registered for the “Rodeo” to qualify for the final event. Divided into two sessions, it takes place on an ultra-fast hill climb (over 600 meters in altitude for 13.5 km) where single and twin-cylinder bikes compete and, thanks to its spectacular nature, over the years it has become one of the most closely fought and eagerly awaited races of the event. Antoine Meo, with the DesertX, recorded a time of 10’51″376, obtaining first place in the twin-cylinder category.

The video illustrates with spectacular and exciting images the crescendo of emotions and adrenaline of the weekend, culminating with the double affirmation in the Iron Road Prolog on the very fast gravel road of the mine.
