Dating back to 1952 when Richa’s founder, Charles Rigaux, launched the first pair of leather gloves, Richa’s history and focus on ‘quality’ has remained a key in all their designs. Nearly 70 years later, this emphasis on quality is still true. Here are two leather jackets which are perfect now the weather is warming up:
Mugello 2 Jacket
This high-performance 1.3mm cow leather jacket has reinforced stretch aramid zones and a Polymesh lining for comfort and protection. There are CE-approved Level One D3O® protectors at the shoulders and elbows – with the option of back and chest protection too. External caps on the shoulders and elbows offer extra protection from impacts and improve aerodynamics.
The sporty-fit Mugello jacket has soft neoprene at the cuffs and collar and a removable thermal lining, as well as Retro Reflex technology zones for extra visibility. There are also perforated leather sections for optimal ventilation. The fit can be perfected on the waist through Velcro adjusters and the whole jacket can be connected to compatible Richa trousers by either the short or long connection zippers.
In dealers now, in size 36-52, the Mugello 2 is available in a choice of black/grey or black/red.
Yorktown Leather Jacket
For those riders looking for a high-quality cowhide leather with a slim fit, the Yorktown leather jacket is a great option. Perfect for those warmer weather riders, there are perforated leather panels at the front and back for optimal ventilation and there is a detachable and washable thermal lining for those cooler days or dusk rides. D3O® protectors are included as standard at the shoulders, elbows and back and there are adjusters on the waist and also zippers on the sleeves, as well as two outside pockets. On the inside of the jacket, the lining is made of Richa vintage cotton and features a dedicated pocket for a mobile phone and another inner pocket.
Available in black, in sizes 38-52, the Yorktown leather jacket.
