The Carole Nash Historic Festival is an unmissable event for car fans, motorsport lovers and families looking for a day of family fun! This year we are delighted to announce the partnership between Mondello Park and the Porsche Centre Dublin for this unique weekend, which promises to be a fantastic celebration of vintage, classic, and racing cars spanning five decades of Motorsports.
Embracing the glory days of Motorsport, visitors will have the chance to dress up in their finest attire and be a part of the biggest and best historic motor racing party of the year in Ireland. It’s a wonderful occasion to relish the heritage of motorsport and immerse oneself in the atmosphere of the bygone era.
The on-track action promises excitement with live races, including The Irish International Grand Prix Trophy, The Dublin Grand Prix Trophy, St. Brigid’s Trophy and the Birrane Perpetual Trophy. These races showcase the skill and adrenaline of drivers competing in vintage and classic vehicles. There will be a selection of pedigree Grand Prix motorcycle displays on track on both days with the unique sights and smells of the distinctive two stroke engine to entertain.
This year visitors will have the chance to see up close some stunning new Porsche models, including the Cayenne Turbo GT, 911 Targa, Cayman T, the exclusive 75-year anniversary commemorative, colourful Taycan, along with a selection of legendary classic 911s.

The foundations of Porsche and how it has evolved are clear from the vision of founder Ferdinand Porsche, who said “In the beginning, I looked around and could not find quite the car I dreamed of, so I decided to build it myself.” Visitors will have the opportunity to experience Porsche’s history firsthand and see these exceptional sports cars up close at the dedicated Porsche display.

From its inception with early racing cars in 1948 through to the latest models, Porsche has always embodied cutting-edge design, exceptional performance, and an unwavering commitment to striving for perfection – all of which contribute to the unparalleled driving experience that they are renowned for.
This festival, a celebration of all things motoring offers a diverse range of racing categories, from Pre War & Pre 55’s to F1 Demos, Guards, Future Classics, and a demo of Grand Prix Motorcycles, provides something for everyone’s automotive tastes. There will be plenty of off-track entertainment and activities to explore, such as live swing and drummer bands, a vintage funfair, fairground rides, games, face painting, street food pop-ups, and surprises to keep the whole family entertained.
