French motorcycle protection specialist proud to sponsor the reigning Junior Superstock Champion as he makes his British Superbike Championship debut. The 2023 season will see Furygan extend its support of British racers to include 19-year-old Max Cook, who will be making the step up to the premier class with Cheshire Mouldings Kawasaki. Racing has been a part of Furygan’s heritage, with the panther featuring on racer’s leathers since 1969. The achievements on track reinforce the company’s pride in protecting champions and, as the perfect testing ground for new technologies and designs, ultimately benefit everyday motorcyclists. Cook will be aiming to get to grips with his Ninja ZX-10RRR, as he becomes one of the youngest riders in the highly competitive British series. He has strong racing pedigree as 2022 Junior Superstock 600 champion, 2017 British Superbike Moto3 Champion and 2015 Aprilia Superteen Champion. Furygan is proud to support this young talent, providing him with top-level leathers to protect him as he makes the next steps in his career, and eagerly anticipates the first round of the 2023 British Superbike Championship at Silverstone in April. Adrien Chareyre, Furygan Racing Manager: “Furygan is proud to equip Max for his debut in the BSB premier class. We have a long history in this championship with successes achieved with great riders. Max is a young and talented rider that we have been watching for a few seasons now. We hope with Max to find the way back to success. We will support him with the best equipment available today, the same equipment we develop race after race in Grand Prix. We are sure that the level of protection and comfort offered by our equipment will allow Max to express his full potential.” |
